Psychotherapy is an investment in your wellness and mental health, productivity at work, quality of life, relationships, creativity, and a sense of happiness and fulfillment in life. The benefits of psychotherapy can extend into all parts of your current life and your future.
I have a set fee that I charge for psychotherapy and consultations, and am open to discussing a fee structure that would work for both of us. I also have a limited number of sliding scale slots open for those who demonstrate a financial need. In case any of the above doesn’t work for you, I would be happy to provide you with referrals.
Currently, I accept Medicare and Medi-Cal/Beacon; also, I am an out-of-network provider and can provide monthly statements – superbills, which you can submit to your insurance company or employer for reimbursement. Also, some people are able to count psychotherapy expenses toward medical expenses on income taxes or use Flexible Spending Account (FSA)/Healthcare Spending Account (HSA) to pay for psychotherapy. If you are planning on involving your insurance company or other agencies to pay for psychotherapy, please check in with them prior to setting an appointment with me.
I offer an initial phone consultation at no charge, please call or text at 415-506-9777 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to set that up. We can use that time to begin understanding your needs and goals, how they could fit with my therapeutic approach, or how psychotherapy works in general.
